New: the Keywords tab shows what is close to page 1

Starting today, Traffalyzer shows which of your keywords sit on positions 4 to 15 and roughly how many clicks a jump up would bring. Plus winners and losers without the noise, history per keyword and one task a week.

Most websites sit just below the top 3 for a number of search queries, on position 5, position 8 or at the start of page two. That is where you get impressions but hardly any clicks. Starting today, Traffalyzer shows you which keywords those are for your site and roughly what a climb would bring.

The Keywords tab

Every domain now has its own "Keywords" tab, filled from your own Google Search Console. For each query you see clicks, impressions, CTR, average position, the change against the previous period and a small trend line. Filters narrow the list down: "Non-brand", "Top 3", "Positions 4–15", "Questions" and "New".

Winners and losers only appear where something actually moved. A keyword going from two clicks to three is not a winner, it is noise, so it stays out. If a keyword moves in lockstep with your whole domain, it gets a seasonal hint instead of raising an alarm.

The detail view

Clicking a keyword opens its history: up to 16 months with a previous-year line on Pro, three months on the free plan. Below it are the pages ranking for the query, related keywords from your list and an "Ask AI" button that hands the question, together with the matching page, to the AI chat. Every detail view has its own link you can share with your team.

Keywords close to page 1

The growth plan has a new "Keywords close to page 1" card. It counts the keywords on positions 4 to 15, estimates roughly how many clicks a jump into the top 3 would bring, and names the keyword with the biggest lever. The estimate uses a typical CTR at position 3; it is a sorting tool, not a promise. The threshold at which a keyword counts adapts to the size of the website, so small sites get a list too.

How to run the same search by hand in Search Console, and what to do with the candidates, is covered in the knowledge article Striking distance keywords.

Brand and bots taken out

Searches for your own name distort any keyword list. Traffalyzer detects your brand automatically from the domain name, and you add your own terms, such as personal or product names people use to search for you directly. Queries with quotation marks or operators like site:, which mostly come from tools and scrapers, are filtered out.

In the weekly letter and in the chat

The weekly letter has a new "Keywords of the week" section with winners and new top 10 queries, plus the "Task of the week": one concrete keyword just below the top 3, with a link straight into its detail view. In the AI chat you can ask about the history of a single keyword, and through the MCP connection your keyword data, history included, also reaches Claude and other assistants.

Pro costs €5 per domain per month plus VAT. Both require a connected Search Console, and connecting it is free on the free plan too. Its data runs about three days behind, and queries Google does not report for privacy reasons are missing here as well.
